IFLA 2024 World Congress - a memorable 3 days in Istanbul

From September 4-6, 2024, the 60th IFLA World Congress brought together nearly 800 participants from 52 countries in Istanbul, all united under the urgent theme "Code Red for Earth."

Over the three days, attendees engaged with six keynote speakers, nine invited guests, and took part in more than 300 presentations and eight specialized roundtable sessions.

These dynamic discussions facilitated a rich exchange of ideas among representatives from UN agencies, international experts, and national stakeholders, addressing critical global environmental challenges.
