IFLA Partners

IFLA works in close collaboration with a wide range of international organisations to advance its mission of promoting, strengthening, and supporting the Landscape Architecture profession worldwide. Through these collaborations, IFLA has established a number of meaningful and impactful Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and strategic partnerships with leading global organisations. These include the World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN), the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA), the Urban Biodiversity and Design Network (URBIO), the International Society for Urban Health (ISUH), the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), ISOCARP (the International Society of City and Regional Planners), and the International Union of Architects (UIA).

In partnership with ISOCARP and the UIA, IFLA is also a founding member of the Circular Cities Network (CCN), an initiative that brings together allied professions to promote sustainable, resilient, and circular approaches to urban development. Through these strategic alliances, IFLA is able to amplify its collective voice, broaden its influence, and significantly enhance its capacity to address pressing global challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, urbanisation, and public health.

In addition, for several of these partner organisations, IFLA has appointed Special Envoys who formally represent the Federation on national and international committees and forums. These representatives play a vital role in strengthening collaboration, ensuring professional representation, and advancing shared objectives across disciplines and sectors.
