IFLA is delighted to announce the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) has joined IFLA as a Corporate Member. Their application was approved by delegates at the 2023 World Council in Nairobi.

CLARB works to protect the public’s health, safety and welfare by establishing and promoting professional licensure standards. Their members are the licensure boards across the United States and Canada.

“The opportunity to engage with our global colleagues and support IFLA’s work demonstrates CLARB’s commitment to a unified, elevated landscape architecture profession worldwide,” says CLARB past president Carisa McMullen. “We are proud to join IFLA as its first corporate member and look forward to advancing the global conversation about landscape architecture.”

IFLA President Bruno Marques added “We are delighted to welcome CLARB to the IFLA Family as our first corporate member. This membership cements a strong relationship already developed through our recent successful collaboration  undertaking the Global Job Task Analysis.  We look forward to working with CLARB towards advancing the profession and its influence.”
