IFLA Declaration on Indigenous Knowledge and Cultures

IFLA DECLARES

  • To develop and maintain relationships with and respect for the diverse global Indigenous cultures, their values, customs and beliefs.

  • To promote dialogue on Indigenous knowledge and, through their professional association and as individuals, to work alongside Indigenous communities.

  • To adopt inclusive decision-making through Indigenous Knowledge in developing policy and practice of landscape architecture.

  • To include Indigenous knowledge in the education of landscape architects.
