Catch up: ISCCL Webinar - why do we need a united Landscape Architecture profession?
If you missed the latest ISCCL (International Scientific Committee on Cultural Landscapes) Working Group on NatureCulture webinar you can catch up below.
IFLA President Dr Bruno Marques asked why do we need a united Landscape Architecture profession? While the world has changed a lot since its establishment, the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) and landscape architects across the globe keep fighting the same battles. We are the profession of the 21st century and well-equipped to deal with the pressures that will define new ways of living and designing for future generations. This talk provides an overview of the state of the profession and introduces the critical role that landscape architects play in advancing the profession by demanding the highest standards of education, training, research and professional practice. Through our collaborative efforts, we will keep raising the profile of landscape architecture globally and promoting sustainable management and design of our natural and built environments.
