2nd World Forum on Urban Forests - Call for affiliated events and activities
The 2nd World Forum on Urban Forests will be held in Washington, D.C. from October 16 to 20 October, 2023. The Forum Organizing Committee is seeking events and activities (formal or informal) that will be affiliated with the World Forum on Urban Forests.
Affiliated events or activities could include:
Association meetings or networking receptions
Art installations/exhibits
Concerts or music events
Marketing or social media campaigns
Community tree plantings or urban forestry focused events
Ticketed events
Technical and training events
The benefits of being selected as an Affiliated Event or Activity include:
Promotion in the World Forum on Urban Forests programme
Visibility for host organization at the Forum
Host organization name and/or logo on signage and/or program at the Forum
Please note that, while it may be possible to host some of the proposed activities at the main venue, in general, identifying space, required permits, and funding for affiliated events and activities are the responsibility of the applicant.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. However, proposals that are interested in hosting events at the main venue should submit by Friday, April 28.
