AIAPP, Italian Association of Landscape Architecture, promotes the culture of garden and landscape design. Today it brings together more than 700 members, including professionals, scholars and students committed to protecting, conserving and enhancing the landscape, through the planning, research, training and scientific-cultural activities of information and professional updating.
Founded in 1950 on the initiative of Pietro Porcinai and Elena Luzzato, it represents professionals active in the field of landscape architecture. The Association is a non-profit organization and has been committed to recognizing the professional, cultural and scientific role of both the discipline and the figure of the landscape architect in Italy for more than half a century.
Since 1998, AIAPP has published the magazine Architettura del Paesaggio , founded by Alessandro Tagliolini, through which it promotes and disseminates its objectives nationally and internationally.
