Tobiloba Akibo has a first degree in Architecture from Covenant University, and a Master of Science in Landscape Architecture from University of Lagos, she has extensive experience in private residential landscaping and garden design. She is committed to landscape ecology and conservation, with specific interest in exploring historic landscape preservation and the evolution of landscape architecture styles within open spaces in post-colonial Nigeria. A registered member of the Society of Landscape Architects in Nigeria, she currently practices in Abuja, Nigeria.

Darija Perkovic

Darija Perković-Bosnjak is a licensed landscape architect and a scientist from Croatia. Her professional experience includes landscape protection and conservation, urban green infrastructure, public-corporate-residential landscape design and project management. Over the years, she has developed a particular interest regarding the natural and cultural heritageof both continental and mediterranean Croatian historical and cultural landscapes, working on research and projects related to sustainable and resilient urban and suburban development. She has teaching experience in the area of landscape design and has been speaker at various international conferences on urbanism, spatial planning, protection of heritage and biotechnical sciences. Perković holds a Master’s Degree in landscape architecture from The University of Zagreb, Croatia (2010) and after passing the State exam in construction and spatial planning (2016) is a licensed landscape architect. Currently is a PhD candidate in Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning, the Doctoral study at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, researching the interrelation between coastal touristic development and urban green spaces in the area of North Adriatic. She was an IFLA/IFLA Europe delegate from Croatian Association of Landscape Architects (CALA) since 2016 to 2019 when she was elected IFLA Europe Executive Council Vice President Communication.

Nadine Bitar is a global thought leader advocating ’Place-led 4.0 © and founder of the Place-led 2030 network ® She advises Cities and Towns in the Middle East. She led or contributed to large-scale urban extensions, including leisure and entertainment clusters, commercial complex, mixed-use developments, Golf and Residential Communities, hospitality projects and branded destinations. Mrs Bitar is the Communications and External Relations for IFLA Middle East, focusing mainly on Arab Countries. She is a keynote speaker, contributing writer and advocate in Global and Regional forums with International and Regional Organisations such as the United Nations, World Bank, Arab League and Arab Town Organisation and Gulf Cooperation Council.
